CueZen and My Diabetes My Way Launch AI-Driven Personalised Diabetes Support Pilot Across NHS Scotland

DUNDEE, Scotland — CueZen and NHS Scotland’s My Diabetes My Way (MDMW) programme today announced a new collaboration to integrate CueZen’s AI-powered digital-health technology into the MDMW platform, with the aim of enhancing self-management support for people living with Type 2 Diabetes across Scotland.

The collboration will combine CueZen’s precision-engagement behavioural change engine with MDMW’s established digital services to deliver clinician-guided, personalised interventions directly to consenting patients via the MDMW mobile app.

NHS Scotland has long been a leader in digital health, and this pilot represents an example of the next transformative evolution of that journey. By combining CueZen’s behavioural-science-driven technology with the reach of My Diabetes My Way, we have a unique opportunity to evaluate how personalised digital interventions can enhance engagement and improve outcomes for thousands of people across the country.

The pilot will provide at least 1,000 consenting patients with Type 2 Diabetes across NHS Scotland with tailored digital messages designed to improve engagement, self‑management, and overall health outcomes. These personalized Interventions being grounded in behavioural science and aligned with clinical best practice for the Scottish population. The digital messages will be delivered by MDMW based on user preference, using established communication methods such as SMS, email and in-App notifications.

The pilot includes full technical integration, stability testing, a six‑month live pilot, and a final evaluation report to inform potential wider rollout across NHS Scotland.

Both organisations emphasise that this partnership represents a significant step toward more personalised, accessible, and equitable digital support for people managing long‑term conditions.

Crucially, the pilot does not replace GP services, diabetes teams, or current clinical care. It augments these elements, and the existing MDMW platform with personalised digital support alongside these established care pathways. All patient data handled during the pilot will comply with NHS Scotland information-governance standards, with any data shared with CueZen being completely anonymised.

This collaboration marks a transformative step for personalised and proactive diabetes care in Scotland. By bringing CueZen’s precision-engagement technology with the trusted My Diabetes My Way platform, we aim to empower people living with Type 2 Diabetes with timely, relevant support that fits into their daily lives.
